Dr. Jessie Short is a board-certified naturopathic doctor with a clinical focus on hormonal and menstrual health within the context of a general naturopathic practice. She offers compassionate, evidence-informed support for people across all stages of the reproductive journey, from menstrual irregularities and perimenopause to fertility and pregnancy. Dr. Jessie takes a root-cause approach to care, crafting individualized, integrative treatment plans that reflect both clinical guidelines and the unique needs of each patient.

Education
Dr. Jessie completed her Bachelor of Science with a combined honours in marine biology and oceanography at Dalhousie University in 2010, and her Ph.D. in marine biology and oceanography at The University of Western Australia in 2014. She completed her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine at The Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in 2019. Her background as a research scientist has provided her with a deep respect for evidence informed medicine, as well as a constant desire to keep learning how to best support her patients.

Qualifications
Dr. Jessie is a professional member in good standing with the Nova Scotia Association of Naturopathic Doctors (NSAND), the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta (CNDA).
