This class is appropriate for people who have Osteoporosis or Osteopenia (low bone density).
With a diagnosis of Osteoporosis it can be difficult to know how to exercise safely. Exercise (or rather, the right exercise) is known to be a great treatment for Osteoporosis and can help improve bone density, maintain a tall spinal posture, and improve balance/ reduce the risk of falls.
This class focuses on dynamic weight-bearing and participants are taught safe exercise and activities for living with Osteoporosis.
